Write for Boundhub

Boundhub welcomes carefully researched, original pitches from people with genuine subject knowledge. We do not sell links, publish paid guest posts, add commercial link insertions or provide guaranteed placement. Every accepted contribution must serve readers first and meet the same editorial standards described on our About and Editorial Standards page.

What we are looking for

We consider practical explainers, evidence-led analysis and useful first-hand perspectives that fit Boundhub’s focus on digital culture, online safety and UK reader needs. A strong pitch explains the question it answers, why the writer is qualified to answer it and what a reader will be able to do or understand after reading.

Where location matters, proposals should address the United Kingdom clearly. That can include UK English, prices in pounds, services available to UK residents, British consumer expectations or an explanation of how rules differ across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Broad international topics are acceptable only when the connection to our audience is clear.

Contributor identity and expertise

Contributors must use a real professional name. A submission should include a short biography, relevant experience and links that help our editor verify the writer’s background. Expertise can come from formal work, independent research or substantial first-hand experience; we do not require invented titles or exaggerated credentials. Boundhub may request supporting information before publication.

Anonymous, AI-generated identity and impersonation submissions are not accepted. If a source needs confidentiality for a legitimate public-interest reason, discuss that with the editor before submitting any identifying material.

Originality, sources and accuracy

  • Submit work written specifically for Boundhub. Plagiarised, spun or previously published articles are rejected.
  • Support factual claims with current, authoritative sources. Primary sources such as official guidance, direct documentation and original research are preferred.
  • Identify dates and jurisdictions when information may change. Do not present estimates, opinion or inference as established fact.
  • Disclose any financial, employment, affiliate or personal relationship that could influence the article.
  • Do not submit legal, medical or financial instructions unless the scope, sources and contributor expertise can be properly verified. General information must not be framed as personalised professional advice.

Anti-spam and commercial-link policy

Boundhub does not accept casino, betting, adult, escort, illegal-drug, counterfeit-product, account-selling, fake-review, follower-selling or deceptive download content. We also reject advertorials disguised as editorial work, doorway pages, keyword-stuffed copy and articles whose main purpose is to place a backlink.

Links are added only when they genuinely help the reader verify a claim or access a relevant primary resource. Our editor may remove, replace or add attributes to any link. Payment never determines whether a link is followed, how long it remains live or where an article appears. Requests to insert links into existing pages are treated as spam.

How review works

Alex Petro, founder and editor of Boundhub.co.uk, reviews pitches for relevance, originality, sourcing, clarity and reader value. Acceptance of a pitch does not guarantee publication. Drafts may be fact-checked, edited for structure and UK English, or returned with questions. Headlines, summaries, internal links and presentation remain under editorial control.

If material is published, it may later be updated, corrected, consolidated or removed when evidence changes or when it no longer meets the site’s standards. Contributors should respond promptly to reasonable fact-checking or correction queries.

How to pitch

Use the Contact page and include a proposed headline, a two- or three-paragraph outline, the intended UK audience, the key sources you expect to use and a short real-name biography explaining your relevant expertise. Do not send a complete unsolicited advertorial or multiple near-identical pitches.

Please allow time for editorial review. We cannot promise a response or publication date, and we do not offer first-page ranking, traffic or backlink guarantees. A thoughtful, transparent pitch is more useful than a sales message.

Corrections and transparency

Contributors share responsibility for accuracy after publication. If you discover an error or an undisclosed conflict, contact us promptly. Readers can also use the Contact page to flag concerns. Boundhub records material updates where useful and aims to correct verified errors clearly.
